The camera does exactly what it should do and provides really good pictures especially at night. Really pleased.
Having had an initial issue with this camera, I was pleased when customer support contacted me to resolve the issue. They were more than happy to assist and in my opinion really went above and beyond to ensure I was a happy customer. Companies with good customer support get my vote every time and I will be happy to use them again.

Bought this product to film hedgehogs that I had been rearing since finding them abandoned in our gardenat 3 weeks old. There are 4 of them 3 girls and a boy and they will be released this weekend coming, hence the need to record them before their departure.
Bobby Wheeler –
Anyway first night got loads of really good footage of the hedgehogs antics during the night, second night it failed to record anything, not sure what I did different, pretty sure it was me not the camera. Just set it up for the third night running hoping I got it right this time. Pretty much used up all of the 12 batteries on the first night so not sure if this had anything to do with the fact it didn’t record on night two ?
I set camera to record from 9pm until 7am for 60second each time the sensor was triggered. It was a very windy night and there is a lot of foliage in that area so I think that the movement of the plants kept triggering the sensor and so it prob recorded pretty much for the whole 10hrs !!! Think this is why the batteries were depleted so much. Anyway I am very pleased with the product and I’m sure I will get better the more I use it.

Delivery was prompt and well packaged. Clear instructions and easy to use. Just add an SD card and 12 AA batteries and follow the menu. A little care is needed when placing the camera for night shots to avoid glare from ground vegetation.
The camera has given us some interesting information on nocturnal visitors including a completely unexpected Muntjac. Hedgehogs are the most freqent visitors.
Battery life is good though of course depends on the battery type and the operating time. We get several nights of activity from some basic rechargeable batteries.

I was a bit dubious when I bought this camera as it wasnt an expensive one. It arrived very quickly and I found everything I should in the box. A quick look at the instructions found me fitting the batteries and memory card I had bought separately, into the camera. I am not technically minded but I found the instructions easy to follow and the menu was good. I love this camera! I have used it several times at night to see how the hedgehogs are doing. The picture is very clear and you have a choice of how long the video will run for. I have also used it in the day time to see who is eating the bird seed. When my husband built a hog house, we weren’t sure they were using it but having had the camera in there overnight, we saw two in there at the same time.
This camera has opened up a whole new world to me. I have spied a fox, mice, a cat and of course the hedhehogs. The camera is a compact size and very sturdy, I use rechargable batteries and they last a resonable time. I can have the video running or take still pictures or have both! The pictures are easy to download onto my laptop and wearing head phones allowed me to appreciate how noisy hogs are when they eat! I am looking forward to taking it when we go camping to see what is out there at night. Its great fun and even my husband was impressed. We now have two cameras!
Unfortunately I dont know how to post a video on this site, which is a shame as I have some very good ones. I thoughroughly reccomend this camera.

Wanted to use the camera to look at wild life in my garden – especially to see the long-tailed field mice that were making small holes all over my lawn. I have had the camera a few weeks now, and so far very pleased. I live next door to woodland, so there is the potential for a lot of animals to visit, although it is winter, and many are hibernating. But I have excellent photos of curious robin, and I got to see the field mouse (see vid). Instructions are quite limited, but luvkily it is reasonably obvious. It does take a lot of AA batteries, but they seem to last a long time. Was a bit worried about waterproofing, so have put the camera on the midshelf of outdoor plastic shelving. The field of view is very wide. The movement sensor works quite well, although sometimes I can’t see what has caused the camera to wake up.

I’ve been battling for years with a Raspberry Pi powered wildlife camera – it was unreliable and a pain to set up. I finally bit the bullet and bought this camera. Arguably cheaper than my Pi powered camera and packed with many more features. We set it up in minutes and left it in the garden to hopefully capture some video of our resident hedgehog.
First night out and perfect success! The trigger works well and has only been activated when creatures have passed the camera. The infrared illumination id perfectly adequate and image quality is pretty good – certainly far superior to Pi powered camera.
We’ll be using this on holiday in a week or two to hopefully capture images of a family of weasels – based on our trials this weekend, I’m hopeful of great success. For the price this is fantastic, easy to set up and does exactly what it claims to do.

I’ve used it on a couple of occasions to see what wildlife is in the garden and the picture and video quality is fine I’m especially impressed with the night pictures (in black and white). It’s also useful to have sound recording and the timestamp on the recording whic will allow me to find whether there is a pattern when the animals are visiting.
Overall happy with my purchase.

This is a decent trail camera that is serving me well for its intended purpose. I use it to see what local animals (mainly unwanted cats) are transiting through my garden as a thoroughfare so I can get rid of them and protect my bird feeders.
It’s a well camouflaged solid construction, I’ve had it out in heavy rain without any problems.
The video and picture quality are decent enough having reviewed footage both day and night with only a small delay between movement detection and capture. The angle of the lenses isn’t that wide though unfortunately, so often something just passes the camera rather than recording sustained footage. The settings are easy to work through with or without the instructions.
Positioning is a learning curve as it can be sensitive. I’ve got a lot of shrubs and trees around my garden and if the wind is up you can end up with a full SD card with nothing relevant on it. Also, lighting can be an issue, so I would recommend a nice shaded spot where nothing is moving that you don’t want to trigger it off.
One thing I think it’s missing is a ground stake, would ideally like to place it at various locations where it can’t be attached in the grass or earth. Sure, I can fashion one myself though and lash it on with the strap.

it is an excellent little camera. Have placed in both our garden (we seem to get a lot of cats!) and then the inlaws and picked up badgers, foxes and owls. It has been out in both strong winds and torrential rain (unprotected) and continues to work absolutely fine. Occasionally there can appear to be a fog on some of the pictures and we are not sure whether this is down to low temps or even some sort of light interference (neighbours have motion lights) but this isn’t often a problem, for us they are more than adequate and quality is both good during the day and in pitch darkness. We tend to use only the video mode (it can be set to take a picture then video) which are smooth and in no way jerky. Also doesn’t appear to be a huge drain on the battery when in operation.
Tip: turn it off when windy – we captured almost a whole day just because it captured things blowing in the wind.

We purchased this mainly to see what was in our loft and where it was getting in. We achieved the first objective within 24 hrs of installing this camera; finding the entrance/exit point took longer, but through no fault of the camera. The video was taken in pitch darkness. The range and picture quality was adequate. So we achieved what we wanted.

Worked perfectly from the first time I deployed it and captured an male Fox in my garden, which was a nice surprise on checking the disk the next morning. I’m experimenting with all the settings at the moment ,i expect to produce stunning high quality photos.
The functionality is basic, be better with two straps but I have to say its great value for the money and suits my purposes to locate and study wildlife ahead of setting out to film and photograph wildlife with my full camera gear.
Andrew Delmonico –
My God, my garden has so many animals to visit, so that my camera is constantly being triggered, I think I have to buy a solar charger to make my camera work better, I hope to give me a little Discount, I will be very happy if I can.
Alexandra Baamonde –
I’ve had a problem with condensation (rather than water ingress through the seals) after bringing the camera in after a cold night, that caused the camera to stop working but they have very quickly got a replacement to me so that I can continue ,I’ll keep an eye on ensuring I don’t allow big temperature contrasts that could create condensation. I guess that this could be a problem with any trail camera, but am otherwise really pleased with my initial results.

Bought this for my Wife as she wanted to see how much Wildlife we get in our Garden. It hasn’t picked up anything yet as I have only tried it a couple of times, waiting for Spring to arrive as then there should be plenty going on.
