This small trail camera is a great buy for the price. It fits my needs for capturing the wandering animals on my property in the country. However, the first camera went bad after a couple days and was taking pictures and videos of nothing but debris blowing in the wind through the entire target time that I had set. No matter what settings and sensitivity I set it continued to do the same and ran down my batteries and filled up my SD card. I contacted customer service and after validating all my settings were and that I had the correct SD card they sent me a brand new camera immediately which is works perfectly. Thank you “Ray” for the excellent and fast customer service!

The lcd screen is very nice and clear and I really like how easy the menu is.. Also a added plus is the passcode option.. I wrote on it with a marker that a passcode is required.. That will hopefully help with theft along with my python cable lock.. I have not tried in bad weather or rain yet but when I do I will let you know. all in all a great deal for the quality that you get..

The camera has great motion detection and superb picture and video quality. The camera requires a fast SD card ( class 10) and seems to prefer a full size card. Using the camera for long ( 1 minute) night time videos eat up the batteries fast. I use this as a wildlife camera around my home and check daily. I wait for the the videos to shorten less than one min and change the batteries. I appreciate the flexible settings and a fast motion trigger. Some people will appreciate the full size SD slot for easy removal of the card.

I decided to try one of these, knowing they are only about 1/2 to 1/3 of the price I was paying for some of the other cameras I have had. A bear got one of mine recently so I decided to try a less expensive one. So far, so good. Set up was a snap; especially since I have had other cameras. I probably had it up and ready to go in about 5 minutes. If you have never had a trail camera before, it may take you 15-20 minutes until you figure out which of the many options it offers. The day and night pictures are good too, although I have not had the camera too long.

I ran 2 24hr tests on my back porch. The first was set to 4 second video. Dogs and people coming and going. Door was 25 fet from cam. Took 93 videos. The second test was a 2 second still frame burst.. No false triggers (although there were no tree limbs in frame). Sensitivity set to medium. It triggered every time somebody cracked the door. Day and night. Had a bad rainstorm. Stayed dry on the inside. Pictured and video quality was good. I only gave 4 stars for night vision because I did not get any triggers at night on the second test. Nobody went out. Not a knock on the camera. I just didn’t get to test it that well. I did get night video and it looked good.
I really like the ability to program so many variables. Not heavy guage plastic. Feels light. But it does everything it says it will do and stood up to a pretty bad rainstorm. I am impressed.

I also ended up changing my tree stand position because of the activity I was able to capture. The motion detection is very sensitive, two of the videos I got were of shadows of squirrels running up a tree behind the camera. So that should tell you something. Overall I’m pleased, and will probably get a few more soon.

The only downside I can see with this camera is that the buttons are extremely small and are the same color as the camera and it would be helpful if the buttons were black to highlight them more. I have small hands so the small buttons are not a big deal for me but for someone large hands it may be an issue. Other than that one thing I am very happy with this camera and would totally recommend it to others.

My property borders some woods, so I really wanted to capture the wildlife action at night. I have a relatively large backyard, and I have the LTL ACORN 6210MC WiFi trail camera setup just off my back deck. I love how easy this camera is to setup and all the menu options! This camera’s lighting will reach quite a ways, and in the attached photos it is lighting an area close to 100ft in depth, with the deer at least 30ft from the camera! The clarity of the pictures and video is awesome as well!

I have been watching a fox family that have made a den in our woodpile next to our woods, I’ve attached a photo and video of one of the babies to see how clear the pictur es are, these were taken while set at the highest

Hoping battery life proves to be long, I also plan on using this to keep an eye on my indoor cats and dogs while we are outside.

We had been observing a new family of foxes and went looking for their den. My old trail camera no longer worked so I decided on this one and very happy I did. The first night with it helped confirm the den with great night vision. I did not even have the video set at its best resolution. Very happy with the purchase. Setup was easy (did not need the manual).
Bala Iyer –
The manual is good, and readable. Read the manual. After I read it, I had a much better experience with the camera than when I was just messing around with it, trying to wing it.

How I decided to do to test this camera was to find out who was going in to the trash at night while we are sleeping.
The set up was across from the can and I set the camera to do video and pictures between 11 pm and 6 am. There were a lot of images and cute shots of the cats, some of which I’ll print because they are great!
The one video here is of who we thought was the culprit, but no evidence was recorded. The picture says it all though, Snuggie-Bear right in the trash bin! Caught!

Overall I definitely recommend this camera and I believe it is worth every penny. If this review helped in your decision, please mark helpful.

see a lot of wildlife in my back yard coming from a large wooded tract behind my house. I see a lot of deer, turkeys, foxes, etc., so I bought this trail camera to capture some images and videos and to see what else might be lurking out there.

I did a lot of research on this subject and chose this ltl acorn over the others. I am not a hunter but I needed something to catch our local visitors at night and in the early morning. We have property in Siver Springs, FL right on the Oklawaha River. My wife thinks it’s a cat but I believe it is one of the monkees migrating down toward us from the Silver River. So far I caught a neighbor at our outdoor fridge, beer bandit no doubt. The night pics are excellent quality, Very happy with this camera so far.

OK so the camera itself is a solid unit. It takes really good photos, and it’s got automatic white balance which is great for if the camera looks EW instead of NS. The camera is competent looking at the sun and seems to have good dynamic range. The other nice thing is that the cameras night vision is spectacular, even when I have the IR illumination set to the lowest setting. The combination of digital processing and IR illumination means the batteries (all 8 of them) are going to last a good long time.
Ross Franco –
The quality of the photos and videos are great, in my opinion. I put some deer corn out a few days prior to the camera being delivered to my house hoping that I might see one or two. As you can see by the photos, I have a whole lot more than that. Bottom line: I’m really happy with the features of the camera and the quality of the images it produces. If you’re a hunter or just like viewing wildlife, this camera is a good choice.

Having on multiple cameras in the past I found this one to be exceptional at this point point. With the external option of the solar-powered charger you can basically put this on a tree and never have to take it down. The resolution is so good that you can zoom in and see which specific animal you’re dealing with.

We see a lot of wildlife (deer, turkey, fox) on our security cameras and wanted to see them close up. On most nights, there are 3-8 deer a night. Our property borders several hundred acres of land and state reserve woods, so I really wanted to capture the wildlife action at night to show our daughter who loves to feed the deer every night. I put the ltl acorn trail camera on a tree near my back garage.
SE HOON CHUNG –
The battery life is still at 90% after six days with a decent amount of activity, kids, mowing and wildlife. I will probably purchase a solar pack for it since it does take 8AA batteries.
The picture and videos quality is great. I’m considering purchasing another to put at the back of our property to see what others wildlife we have on our property!

I currently have 4 different critter cams deployed across 66 acres of woods. This one is my favorite. It is easiest to program and offers the flexibility i like. The options cover the range of programming that I like, more than any of my other critter cams. It is intuitive and offers high quality images. When the time comes to purchase another critter cam, this is the one I will purchase.
