Product was as described and well packed.
The pros Was easy to set up. Put in batteries, SD card, format using menu, set date/time. Switch to ON and off you go. Pictures were of good quality and video ok to. Thanks to the Scottish weather it has passed a water-tight test too after getting a 12 hour soaking. After a night out in my back garden I was pleased to see that as I expected it seems to be used as the local ‘motorway’ for cats at night. Now I know who the culprits are! I was also surprised to see it picked up bats a couple of times too. In daylight placed it facing bird feeding station and enjoyed watching the ‘friendly’ robin see off the local chaffinches.
Overall very pleased with the camera and hope to now go further afield with it.

First, I bought this supplement/supplement as the ltl- 6511WMG that my wife bought for me. We use two cameras to cover more gardens. The ltl- 6511WMG is an excellent camera. If you are considering buying this model, I suggest you add extra features and get a better model. In other words, if we have not seen the function of ltl- 6511WMG before purchasing this product, it will be rated as five stars. Tie it to a tree and play the video overnight, so that you can surprise yourself with activities that you don’t usually know after dark. We thought we were accepting the visit of the fox, and now we have evidence that the hedgehog has occasionally appeared, even though it is January, which determines the food we missed.
The camera is clearly resistant to outdoor shooting/photography and the unpredictable weather in the UK. Easy to set up and operate. Compared with ltl- 6511WMG, it was found to be a bit slow when downloading, the image quality is very good, but it is not as good as ltl- 6511WMG again, both are very heavy. You will need an SD card or the camera will not record.

I wanted to record hedgehogs in my garden, I knew they were coming and eating at a feeding station I had set up and a hedgehog house I had bought. Read a lot of reviews and had mixed feelings as some of the reviews were not especially favourable but decided to take a punt. For the price I think it is brilliant, providing you have realistic expectations and it is appropriate for the subjects you want to record. Received this camera around two weeks befour and wanted to give it a decent run. Up to now has exceeded my expectations.
Initially I had it recording for 60s with 5s gap until the next activation. Really needed a slightly longer gap between activation’s to preserve battery life . On my second set of lithium batteries and now I have adjusted my time between activation’s holding up very well indicator still showing full, although in fairness recently weeks activation’s are down now to maybe 4 or 5 per night as hibernation is approaching. At the start I was getting maybe 20 – 30 activation’s between 6pm to 7am. I don’t know about the durability yet early days. Absolutely delighted with the video’s I am getting. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product, superb value for money IMHO.

This is truly amazing for the price. I have set it on timer and place it in different positions each night and it has shown me that we have four badgers visiting us every night! The quality of the video/pictures for this price is excellent. I even use it sometimes in the day to see what birds are visiting my feeders when I am at work and have got some great footage. This was a great buy and I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in the nature around their garden. One of the most useful features on this is that you can attach it to a tripod as well as to a tree/post, whereas most of the ones I looked at didn’t have this – placing it on a small ‘pocket’ tripod on the grass has given us some of the best footage of our badgers.

I recently purchased an Apeman 6310wmg 3g to see what kind of activity was going on around a small pond in my back garden. I have to say that it has opened up a new world of entertainment for me ā every morning while eating breakfast I look at the previous days images, and itās always great to see what wildlife actually uses the pond.
Iāve had a trail camera before and had pretty good success with it, the image clarity from this camera has impressed me, I even zoom in to get a better look at birds around the pond and on my lawn and never have any issues in identifying them.
Initially I used the camera in PIR mode where it captured photographs of any objects moving within itās scanning range and this proved very successful. However, I have now found my favourite mode which is time lapse. I set the camera to take an image every minute and then I scan through them and get to see so many changes including the weather, the light, and most importantly ā wildlife coming into and leaving my garden.
Around the pool, I capture birds drinking and bathing, cats being nosey and my favourite of all is the night time images showing insects and moths moving around the water and most recently a frog in the pond. Itās amazing how much activity there is once night falls.
I canāt comment too much on battery life other than to say that I havenāt noticed any degradation at all since I bought the camera and I use it all day, every day !
I find the 6310wmg 3g very easy and intuitive to use and have had no problems at all with set up. The menus (for me) are clear and self explanatory.
I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting to take good quality pictures by day or night ā especially if you are doing this on a budget.

Absolutely made up with this camera. The pictures/videos are clear, you have lots of different setting options like setting it to only do things between certain times and whether it take photo, video or both and if you take a photo do you want the date and temperature on it. And a few more options. I’ve really enjoyed seeing the wildlife, I made a “hedgehog hole” in my back fence a few years ago and wondered if it got used. Now I know that mice, rats, squirrels and hedgehogs use it š the sound recording is good too. It takes a little while to upload things to the laptop and it takes a while going through things on the camera itself to see whether it was just a leaf or a bug or something more interesting. However, that’s not necessarily the camera’s fault and I found it isn’t really a big deal. When the pictures are uploaded they are fantastic quality and I’ve loved seeing (and hearing) what goes on (particularly in the night) that I had no idea about. Battery life was pretty good too. It takes 12 batteries but they run out depending on which settings you use. I had mine on quite intense settings (I.e. recording lots of things for a fairly long time then immediately doing it again) and they lasted a good couple of weeks, maybe 3 or 4, of me having it on almost all day and all night.
